Former Apple Leader Ron Police Moves to SAP National Security Services™ Executive Team

ROCKVILLE, MD – SAP National Security Services® (SAP NS2®) added another big name to its ranks this week: Former Apple and Oracle vice president Ron Police joined the SAP NS2 executive team as Senior Vice President.

"Ron Police is one of the smartest, best connected B2G tech experts around, and we're looking forward to having his expertise as we work to provide powerful new alternatives in the national security technology market," said Mark Testoni, President and CEO of SAP NS2

Just last week, SAP NS2 announced that one of the U.S. Navy's most experienced leaders, Vice Admiral Joe Kernan (retired), has joined the executive team of SAP National Security Services® (SAP NS2®) as Vice President of Business Development.

Police brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology to SAP NS2. During his seven-year tenure at Apple, Police was responsible for business-to-government markets, where he implemented strategies to boost revenue and profitability, invigorate interest in the Mac, and launch new mobility solutions for local, state, and federal governments.

Prior to his work at Apple, Police spent 17 years at Oracle Corporation, serving as Senior Vice President of Higher Education and Healthcare Sales, Senior Vice President of Sales Operations, and Vice President of DoD and Intelligence Operations for Oracle Service Industries.

In 2012, Police established a consulting business focused on strategic planning, marketing, and sales for technology companies. He also has been active in numerous technology trade associations and company advisory boards in the Washington D.C. area. A 1982 graduate of Penn State with a degree in Business Logistics, he serves as an advisor to Penn State's College of Information Science and Technology. Police also completed an executive studies program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and a leadership development program at The Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado.

"I'm very pleased to join SAP NS2 and help build its business," said Police. "I've worked for some very innovative companies in the past, and I'm convinced that SAP NS2 is on the cutting edge today. That makes it an exciting place to be."
